Empowering Your Business Growth.

Two brothers. One standard. Built for American businesses.

We're a family practice run by two qualified accountants who trained in Big 4 audit. We prepare in US GAAP, work in QuickBooks and Xero, run on the US tax calendar, and hand your CPA a year-end package that's ready before they ask for it.

INDUSTRIES WE SERVE

Built on the belief that your numbers deserve real care

We grew up around accounting. Our father has spent more than twenty-five years in the profession, and the standard he set at home was simple: the numbers tell the truth, or they aren’t worth preparing.

Both of us trained in Big 4 audit before moving into company finance and, increasingly, into serving American clients directly.

What we kept seeing was the same thing in different forms. US business owners making real decisions – pricing, hiring, borrowing, selling – on numbers nobody qualified had ever reviewed. And every spring, paying a CPA professional rates to fix twelve months of bookkeeping before the return could even begin.

Nini Associates exists to close that gap. Qualified accountants working to Big 4 standards and US GAAP, at a fraction of what a US finance hire costs – and because the firm carries our family name, we treat your numbers the way we’d treat our own.

Our name is on the door. That's not a marketing line - it's the reason we won't sign off on numbers we don't believe.

Set up around US rules, US software and the US calendar

Offshore is only a problem when the team doesn't know your market. Here's exactly how we're set up for yours.

US GAAP first, not converted

We prepare in US GAAP from the start - the standard your bank, your CPA and a future buyer expect. Nothing is translated from another framework after the fact.

Certified in the software you already own

QuickBooks ProAdvisor and Xero certified. Your subscription stays in your name, and your data stays in your environment - never copied to ours.

We run on the US tax calendar

January 31 for W-2s and 1099s. March 15 for S corps and partnerships. April 15 for C-corps and individuals. Your year-end package is ready before your CPA asks for it.

Coverage across US time zones

A responsive point of contact through your working day, whether you're on Eastern or Pacific — not an answer waiting for you the next morning.

We work alongside your CPA or EA

We prepare and reconcile; your licensed preparer signs and files. The lines are agreed upfront, so nothing falls between us.

Multi-state as you grow

Economic nexus tracked as you cross thresholds into new states, with liability prepared by state and period — before a notice arrives, not after.

Whatever entity you file as, your books are built for it

Bookkeeping that ignores how you're taxed creates work for your CPA and cost for you. We start from the return and work backward.

Sch. C

Sole Proprietors

Clean books and a year-end package your preparer can drop straight onto the return.

1065

LLCs & Partnerships

Partner capital accounts tracked properly through the year, ready for K-1s.

1120-S

S-Corporations

Owner compensation, distributions and basis kept straight - the areas that draw questions.

1120

C-Corporations

Full-accrual books, deferred items and consolidated reporting where you have multiple entities.

W-2 / 941

Payroll

Payroll reconciled to the general ledger every period, not once a year at audit.

1099-NEC

Contractors

W-9s collected at onboarding and reportable payments tracked as you pay them.

Sales Tax

State Filings

Economic nexus monitored, liability prepared by state and period ahead of each deadline.

Annual

Franchise & State

Annual report and franchise tax dates tracked so your entity stays in good standing.

JANUARY 31

W-2s and 1099-NECs due to recipients. We have the W-9s and payment data ready in December, not the week before.

MARCH 15

Forms 1065 and 1120-S for calendar year filers. Your books closed and year-end package delivered well ahead.

APRIL 15

Forms 1040 and 1120. Nothing left to reconstruct, because nothing was left behind.

QUARTERLY

Form 941 and state sales-tax deadlines, mapped into one calendar so nothing depends on someone remembering.

Dates shown are the standard federal deadlines for calendar-year filers. We map your specific dates, including state deadlines, during onboarding.

The people behind your numbers

Not a call center and not a rotating team. These are the two people who will be handling your books.

Hammad

FOUNDER

Nine years making complicated operations report cleanly - in US GAAP.

Our founder trained in Big 4 audit, spending four and a half years auditing companies against international standards, including a secondment inside a global technology company covering external audit, internal audit and bookkeeping. Big 4 audit teaches one habit above all others: never put forward a number you can’t evidence. That’s still how every close runs here.

He then spent six years inside company finance rather than auditing it from outside – running product costing through a full ERP implementation, sitting on the finance team that took a manufacturer through its public offering, and most recently serving as Finance Manager for a publicly traded consumer goods group, where he owned month-end close, consolidated financial statements and the outside audit relationship, along with a concurrent charge over company-wide receivables.

For American clients that shows up in practical ways: books that close on a fixed date every month, inventory and landed cost handled so gross margin is real, and financial statements prepared in US GAAP that hold up when a bank, a buyer or your CPA starts asking questions. He’s a QuickBooks ProAdvisor, Xero certified, and a US tax preparer – so your books are built with Form 1120-S or 1065 in mind, not reconciled to them in March.

WHERE HE LEADS
SOFTWARE

Co-Founder

SOFTWARE & TRANSACTION LEAD

Eight years working inside American businesses - not observing them from outside.

Our co-founder began in audit, then spent three and a half years as a business consultant with a Big 4 firm on due diligence, business process reviews and internal control assessments. That’s the discipline behind our quality of earnings and controller work: he knows where numbers get stretched because testing them was his job.

Since then he has served North American clients directly. At a Canadian real estate group he ran multi-entity close and property revenue while supporting an ERP implementation. Since 2024 he has been a senior financial analyst inside a North American enterprise software group, working across US and Canadian clients on software revenue recognition spanning subscription, license and services models, multi-entity close and FP&A reporting – while leading a team of accountants.

For US software companies that means ASC 606 handled correctly – performance obligations identified, deferred revenue schedules that actually reconcile, MRR and ARR tied back to the ledger, and Stripe settlements reconciled gross to net. It’s the work that decides whether your books survive a buyer’s due diligence, and it’s unusual to find it outside a US firm’s rate card.

WHERE HE LEADS
SOFTWARE

Deliberately different, deliberately complementary

Most small firms are one person's expertise stretched across every client. We cover two very different halves of the profession.

OUR FOUNDER

The product and costing side

Manufacturing and consumer-goods costing, inventory and landed cost, US GAAP statements and controller work. If the question is what does this actually cost and where is the margin going, it sits with him.

OUR CO-FOUNDER

The software and transaction side

ASC 606 revenue recognition, multi-entity close, FP&A, and due diligence from three years at EY. If the question is when should this revenue be recognized, or does this business really earn what it claims, it sits with him.

Between us we cover product businesses and software businesses, monthly operations and one-time transactions - and each of us reviews the other's work.

Where we fit around your CPA

We don't replace your tax preparer. We make their job cheaper and your April far quieter.

WHAT WE STAND FOR

The values behind every set of books

Integrity

We tell you what the numbers actually say, including when it isn't what you hoped. That's the whole job.

Precision

Every close is reviewed by a qualified accountant before it reaches you. No unsupervised work, ever.

Partnership

We don't hand you off or move on. The person who knows your business is the person you speak to.

Expertise

Big 4–trained and qualified — the same standards we were held to, applied to your books.

QUESTIONS US CLIENTS ASK

Before you get in touch

Shown open here so every answer is visible. On the live site these collapse - visitors click a question to expand it.

Yes - it's what we prepare in day to day, including ASC 606 revenue recognition for software companies and full-accrual reporting for C-corps. We also work in IFRS, which matters only if you have a foreign parent or overseas subsidiaries to consolidate.

We keep your books tax-ready all year, collect W-9s, track 1099-reportable payments, prepare sales-tax figures by state, and hand your preparer a complete year-end package. Your licensed CPA or enrolled agent signs and files the return. If you don't have one, we can work alongside a US-licensed preparer for the filing itself.

No, and we're direct about it. We're qualified accountants — ACA and ACCA chartered, with CPA credentials issued by ICPAP in Pakistan rather than a US state board. We don't perform audits or attest engagements, and we don't sign US tax returns. Those stay with your US-licensed professional, and we work alongside them.

We collect W-9s at onboarding and track reportable payments through the year — applying the credit card and third-party settlement exclusions correctly, which is the rule that catches most businesses out. On sales tax we monitor economic nexus as you sell into new states and prepare liability by state and period ahead of each deadline.

Yes. Reasonable compensation, distributions and basis tracking are among the areas that draw the most questions on an 1120-S, so we keep them clean through the year and document them in your year-end package rather than reconstructing them at filing.

We maintain a daily overlap with US business hours across Eastern through Pacific, so you have a responsive contact during your working day rather than a reply waiting the next morning.

Credentials and structure. We trained in Big 4 audit, hold chartered and certified qualifications, and have prepared financial statements for publicly traded companies. Every engagement runs under an NDA with restricted two-factor access, and we work inside your systems - your data never leaves your environment.
